Primary Treatment
Primary treatment is designed to remove suspended or insoluble solids through a variety of processes. Primary treatment prepares the wastewater for further treatment in the secondary and tertiary stages. The various primary treatment involved are :
- Screening
- Wastewater Equalisation
- Oil-Water Separation/ Oil Skimming
- Coagulation, Flocculation and Sedimentation
- Chemical Dosing
- pH Adjustment/ Neutralisation
- Vacuum Evaporation
